Your be glad to hear that there is now a great AVI (Video for Windows) and MOV (Quicktime) player for the Amiga called Moovid.
It doesn't require a high powered Amiga either, it will run on a machine without a graphics card with kickstart 3.0+ (AKIKO requires 3.1), an AGA Amiga (for ham8, 256 colour, 18BIT, STORM and 16 greyscale), ECS/OCS (16 greyscale) and a MC68020 or faster processor.
Also requires about 1MB of Fast Memory.
Graphics card user's are supported via Picasso 96 or CyberGraphX software.
Recommended 68030 or faster processor and a fast drive 1MB/sec or faster. 68060 and Graphics Card highly recommended.
There are two version which you can download as demo's but we strongly recommend you register after you have tried so that you can gain all the benifits of this great peice of software. Please read the documentation supplied to find out more.
